China Slim Tea Extra Strength for Men and Women Review

Right after college, I worked in an office where we talked a lot about wanting to lose weight. People were always trying this or that diet. While visiting San Francisco, I bought a box of China Slim Tea to bring home as a joke. Surely you can't lose weight from drinking tea, I thought. It was never used, and eventually it went into the trash.

Now I have come to realize that some teas really help you lose weight. If you want a slimming tea drink that also acts as a laxative or colon cleanse, the China Slim Tea Extra Strength for Men and Women may be the product for you. The product is 100 percent natural and contains no caffeine.

How does China Slim Tea Extra Strength for Men and Women Work?

The name of the product leads you to believe it is a slimming or diet-aid tea, but the product information stops short of making that claim. In fact, the product is not said to do anything in particular. Referred to as a dietary supplement, the product description states it is a 100 percent natural herbal tea, contains no caffeine, and that the special formula is a unique blend of the highest quality herbs that have been tested over the centuries in the Orient.

Weight loss may occur as the product acts as a laxative: Product info states users may experience an extra bowel movement or two the first couple days of use. Lack of detailed product info leads to its mystique.

Does China Slim Tea Extra Strength for Men and Women Really Work?

Reviewers seem to be split as to the efficacy of the product. One user gave it a high score and called it “a really good product,” noting that it works great as a dietary drink as well as a laxative. But another gave it a very low score, calling it basically a laxative with a bad taste, adding that it would be better just to get more exercise.

Ayla, a reviewer on Amazon, also gave it a low score but said that it did not taste bad at all, but wondered when the tea would start working, because after four days, it had not made her go to the bathroom at all. From what I gather, the tea makes you lose water weight as a result of causing diarrhea.

Will It Help You Lose Weight?

That is the million dollar question. Some reviewers said they lost weight, but did not quantify how much. . One calls it a great diet drink, but does not specify how much weight has been lost. Queen Bee reported that she had been using the product for a year and was very satisfied. She notes:

“the secret of this tea is eating a lot of greens .If u are the type of person who eats only meat and potatoes don't try this product because it will cause a lot of stomach pain. I have a regular bowel movement in the morning and flat stomach.. This tea is the best!!!"

D. Forrester says the tea works well as a colon cleanse and to produce a bowel movement, but not for weight loss, and uses it once or twice a week for constipation.

Some users said the tea helped them lose eight to ten pounds right before an important date, but others said the tea is better as a colon cleanse than as a weight loss tool, and that they used it a couple of times a week for constipation.

What About Side Effects?

Some side effects have been noted by users. J. Harris said there was a muddy/oily taste and a strange after taste. Queen Bee states that you have to eat fruits and vegetables when you take the tea, or you will experience stomach pain. Johnnie L. Robertson and some other users have noted that the product causes loose stools and diarrhea.

The side effects seem to range from annoying to serious. Some users reported no side effects, but others talked about stomach pain and cramping, violent diarrhea, and almost addiction to the tea, to the point that when they stopped drinking it, they felt bloated and had great trouble becoming regular again. Other comments found on the internet were from people concerned about long term effects of the tea on the kidneys. If trying this tea, make sure to take it exactly as directed.

Problems and Complaints

The negative stories you find out there about the tea definitely give you pause. J.V.D. Moere said she drank the tea and was up all night with stomach pains and diarrhea, adding that the ingredients are variations of the senna plant—a powerful laxative that should be taken sparingly. Moere added that the company is irresponsible selling a laxative as a weight loss product.

How does China Slim Tea Extra Strength for Men and Women Rate Overall?

Those who have tried the tea have had mixed reviews. Most have given it five stars, but several have rated it either four stars or one star, make the overall rating 3.5 stars.

Don't Be Stupid

I don't mean to come across as condescending, but you people should all think about what you are doing. I have firsthand knowledge from someone in my family that is dying of renal failure and bladder cancer that China Slim Tea is a poison. Anyone idiot would lose weight if they were drinking a toxic tea that was giving them violent diarrhea. You're losing water weight and damaging your kidneys. "Natural" does not mean safe. You would do well to remember that, and talk to real doctors more than you talk to "magic shamans" who don't know couldn't make it through the first day of physiology class at the local community college!

China Slim Tea

I exercise regularly and i eat healthy but sometimes my family cooks really greasy food and they cook white homemade bread which causes constipation.

I WOULD ONLY USE THIS TEA FOR THE PURPOSE OF GETTING LOOSE STOOL NOT LOSING WEIGHT BECAUSE IT DOES DEHYDRATES YOUR BODY AND WILL CAUSE DIZZINESS AND WEAKNESS because once all that vitamins and water is taken out of your body you are left with nothing.

This tea DOES WORK!! I have

This tea DOES WORK!! I have been trying to manage my weight while balancing college and work, and this has been a cheap effective option (In Oregon I have found it for $1.99 and in Hawaii I have found it for $3.49 + tax). Yes you do see more bowl movements, but I have never experienced the stomach pains (I am also a life long vegetarian so I am sure that plays a role. It does have an earthy sort of taste so I usually brew a fruit tea along with it to counterbalance the flavor, and it works. I drink it every evening before bed and sometimes in the morning if I feel my diet is off.

weight loss
