I found this great video on Youtube of a girl named Nisha who lost 70 pounds on Weight Watchers without exercising at all. I thought I would share it with you for two reasons:
1. Many people are wondering if exercise is necessary while on Weight Watchers
2. Nisha is a drop dead gorgeous girl!
Nisha started off as a chubby child. At first, it didn’t bother her. But as she grew up she didn’t like being fat.
The turning point in her life came one day when her family had a big gathering. Among the many friends and relatives that attended this reunion were a bunch of slim and beautiful girls.
Nisha realized for the first time that being slim is not just healthy, it feels great, too! She wanted to look and feel like these girls. If she were slim, she would look good in her dress, have a pretty face, and nice hair, just like them. She craved for these feelings and so she determined she would do what it takes to lose weight and look good. And boy, did she make it!
Just watch her video. She is one of the most beautiful girls I have seen! The way she speaks is adorable, too.
She achieved her weight loss success by joining Weight Watchers. The program helped her re-educate herself about food.
“I realized that what I was eating was basically… crap!” says Nisha, who lost 70 pounds on Weight Watchers. She did no exercise at all. She lost all this weight just by changing her eating habits according to the Weight Watchers plan.
The reason she loves Weight Watchers is because the program taught her how to make good food choices. Before starting Weight Watchers, she would eat 2 chocolate cookies for snack and she would still feel hungry. Today, she snacks on apples and she feels full.
In fact, the caloric equivalent of 2 chocolate cookies is 6 whole apples!
“Maintaining is the Hard Part”
Now that Nisha has fulfilled here dream, she believes that losing weight is easy. The hard part is maintaining it. Losing weight is a lifestyle change.
What Should You Do?
Nisha has some helpful tips for you.
1. Educate Yourself About Food
Learn what is in the food you eat, how many calories it contains. Being aware of what you eat is key to losing weight
2. Cheating is Allowed
Cheating from time to time is ok. Nisha has a cheat day once a week where she eats whatever she wants, including pizza, chocolate, chips, etc
3. Do not Weigh Yourself Every Day
Do not weigh yourself at 2 in the afternoon and then again at 6 at night. Weigh yourself only once a week. Your weight varies throughout the day because your body changes (you eat, you drink, you get bloated, etc)
4. If you Exercise You May Gain Some Weight – Don’t Panic
It is possible that if you exercise while you are on a diet you may see some weight gain. Do not worry. This could be muscle.
5. Quit the "Need" of Having the Perfect Body
Nisha advises men and women who want to lose weight that they should surrender the idea of perfection. Nobody is perfect. You can’t be like the models in the magazines. Models’ pictures are fake.
Following this approach, Nisha lost 70 pounds on Weight Watchers without exercise.
