My iCLIPART Review
iCLIPART is a neat website where you are able to find the images you are looking for without the worry of copy-write, because they are royalty free. It is frustrating when you look for pictures and find that you cannot use them because of copy-write issues.
This online-store has different subscriptions to choose from and the price is reasonable. You can join iCLIPART and then choose the images you need for your project. They have a beautiful selection of Victorian art. All you need to do is download them and they are ready in a perfect format to print. This merchant provides something for any project.
iCLIPART offers professionally graded:
- Clipart
- Photos
- Photo objects
- Fonts
- Sounds
- Web graphics
- Animations
- Video
I never realized there was so much access to so many things. They have over 7 million things to choose from and add nearly 1,000 images almost weekly. For someone building a web page, looking for interesting pictures for a project, making crafts, needing sounds, or anything else, iCLIPART seems to have it all.
The images from the online store can be used in any type of graphic designing project for home, sports, clubs and churches. You can use them in brochures, advertisements, signs, and newsletters.
Is iCLIPART Worth It?
Because of the features at the store, iCLIPART is worth dealing with.
Here are a few reasons why I think buying clipart, photos, sounds, video etc. from iCLIPART is well worth it:
With 7.8 million royalty free options to choose from, iCLIPART pretty well guarantees to have anything and everything a person is looking for. The key features consist of:
- Professionally graded images that work with Windows and Macintosh software
- Over 1,000 new images are added every week
- Ideal for professional use as well as hobbyists
- Different formats for different needs
My personal favorite feature from this merchant is the grade of the images. The clear image shows up nicely on a piece of silk and looks professional. The graphics are amazing.
iCLIPART Cons - Disadvantages
I have to be honest here and say that this store will meet all of your needs and more. I really cannot say anything bad about it. The service is great, the price is fair and the images are perfect. They have everything covered for each type of product.

How Does iCLIPART Compare to Similar Clip Art sites?
I looked up a couple different clipart merchants to compare with iCLIPART.
iClipart vs Getty Images
The major difference between these two is that iClipart specialize in clipart while Getty Images focus on stock photography. Getty Images do have about 7,000 clipart images but this is very little compared to the tens of thousands available at iClipart.
If, on the other hand, you look for i.e “astronomy” photographs, iClipart will serve you a measly 30 images while Getty Images will fetch you over 10,197 results.
Unlike Getty Images, Clipart have sorted their images into categories along the side. This is very helpful when you want to find a particular image. So, at Getty Images, I found that while they had an assortment of Victorian images, I had to sift through modern photos to get to any nice ones. Victorian images were not listed along the side, as it is at iCLIPART. I had to type it in to get anywhere.
The price at Getty Images for one picture that I liked, started at $10, while over at iCLIPART a similar picture was a couple of dollars more but a much nicer scene. iCLIPART has 77 pages of Victorian clipart and Getty Images had only two pages. This merchant did have worldwide locations but iCLIPART provides worldwide subscriptions.
They do have a blog there and it would be nice to see iCLIPART do the same. A blog perhaps that presented the newest images and talks about the different things one could do with the products from their site; something to add a little personality behind their business.
iClipart vs FreeDigitalPhotos.net
I love FreeDigitalPhotos.net. What differentiates FreeDigitalPhotos.net from other stock photography sites is that their photos are ALL FREE when you choose the lowest resolution. I wish all stock photography sites had this policy. I often visit Free Digital Photos to download free photos which I use in my blog. The requirement though, is that you credit the person that created the photo, otherwise you need to purchase it starting at $3 per image.
There are many cases where I look for a particular photo and I will not find it in other free stock photography sites, like photoxpress.com, flickr.com and sxc.hu, and I will find it only at FreeDigitalPhotos.net.
What is the Cost at iCLIPART?
The prices at iCLIPART start at:
- $12.95 per week
- $24.95 per month
- $34.95 for three months
- $49.95 for a year
- $79.95 gives a single user a Plus subscription for 1 year with some good discounts
- $295.00 a year for a Professional subscription
The weekly subscription allows only 35 files to be downloaded each day. All others have unlimited daily downloads.
Use the promo code presented on the top of this page to save 10% .
iCLIPART offers the payment options of credit card and PayPal. This store is listed in the Better Business Bureau and to me that should say a whole lot about their reputation. If a purchase is in a damaged condition, they have a money back guarantee.
What Are Others Saying? Testimonials - Feedback - Comments
I always like to check out what other people have to say about something before I purchase anything. When I read over the comments, I saw how pleased some were with this merchant. Other people who had bought the year’s subscription were not always happy, though.
A few samples of what people thought were that a weekly purchase was all they needed and a few who bought the yearly one found it not as worth their while. It seems its best to read all the terms of use clearly and understand them before subscribing for any amount of time. I guess, like anything else, it is always important to read the policy.
