5 Steps for Women to Get Sexy Abs – What to Eat and How to Exercise
Submitted by Latasri on Sat, 08/25/2012 - 22:48While it’s every lady’s dream to have a flat mid-section, it takes a lot of commitment and sacrifice to get it. Sitting and dreaming about those abs is much easier than getting up and working for them. The mistake most of us make is looking at the work involved from bird’s eye view and despairing when we think about how long and how hard we have to train. But what most women don’t realize is that they too can have that well-toned stomach if they just committed to making the first step. The journey of a thousand miles begins with just one tiny little baby step.
Speaking of steps, here are a few to set you on your way to getting sexy abs.
1. Change your diet
Believe it or not your diet is the most important element of achieving sexy abs. In fact, is it 80% diet and only 20% exercise.I would advise you arrange a meeting with a dietician and discuss your goals. Most likely your dietician will put you on a high-protein, low-fat, low carb, calorie-controlled diet.
The Pros and Cons of Nutrisystem Diet
Submitted by Guest Writer on Mon, 04/23/2012 - 05:04You’ve probably seen the numerous commercials advertising Nutrisystem and the various celebrities they have endorsed the product with rave reviews of success. The concept of Nutrisystem is a simple one: you select a plan that fits your personal dietary needs and then order 28 days of food. The food is delivered to you in perfect portion sizes so you no longer have to bother with attempting to cook healthy meals or measure out the correct portion sizes.
All of the guess work is done and you just have to eat the food and lose the weight. Any sort of diet system like this comes with pros and cons, and Nutrisystem definitely has both:
Pros
1. Portion control

One of the major problems that people face when they’re trying to change their eating habits is portion control. We have been brainwashed with the misconception that we have to finish everything on our plates, even while our portion sizes continue to increase. Having pre-portioned meals takes the guess work out of what is the correct portion size and if you’re eating too much or too little.
What is a Day Like on Nutrisystem?
Submitted by Guest Writer on Tue, 02/21/2012 - 03:27What is a typical day like in the life of someone on Nutrisystem? Youtuber LoveandCents reviews a day on Nutrisystem.
"I am on the women’s plan. There are several other plans and they vary a little bit. I base everything off the meal planner, which makes it really easy to get all the servings you need every day." she explains.
Breakfast
I had a garden vegetable omelet for breakfast, with grated cheese on top, and apples on the side.
I followed the Nutrisystem meal planner, which consists of a Nutrisystem entrée, which is the omelet, a dairy or protein, and a fruit. The portion sizes for the dairy, protein or fruit are at the back of the meal planner.

Lunch
For lunch, I had a chicken Quesadilla with a bit of salsa on top, half a cup of steamed carrots, and as much broccoli as I like because it’s unlimited.

Janet created Nutribank, an organization that donates $1 for every pound lost on Nutrisystem. That’s million of dollars to be donated for feeding people who are hungry in 2012.
How Did Your Book “True You” Lead You to Work with Nutrisystem and Nutribank?
Janet: My book “True You” comes out December 15th on paperback. I am very excited about that. I felt it was important to talk about self-esteem, weight issues, and all of those things. People come to me and ask me how I lost weight, how I gained, how did take it off, how did I put it on. What I tell them is the nutrition aspect of it. So, I wanted to do something that would help people understand how the whole thing evolved and the way to do this was to start from the beginning, which was my childhood. So many people, not just women but men too, have come to me and tell me how the relate to the book and the anecdotes.

With so many diet plans available, it’s hard to decide which one might be right for you. Jenny Craig and Nutrisystem are two popular plans that feature pre-prepared meals so that you don’t have to worry about cooking or measuring portions. But what makes each program distinct? Here is a list of similarities and differences between the two programs.
Similarities Between Jenny Craig and Nutrisystem
1. Taste
How good do foods from these two diets taste? For diet food, they are both good. None of them tastes terrifically well. Consumer Reports asked experienced taste testers to sample 65 products from these two diets. While Jenny Craig slightly edged out Nutrisystem in terms of taste, the difference was not significant.
