Elliptical trainers are the wave of the future. They claim to offer low-impact cardio workouts to their users. They are similar to treadmills but offer smoother motions much like gliding on air.
Stamina Air 1725 is a portable and affordable elliptical trainer with electronically controlled air resistance that can help you exercise and tone your glutes, thighs, abs and legs.
While it is probably the most inexpensive treadmill in the market today, it has not gained notoriety from its users. With only a few reviews available to date, most being negative, you should judge for yourself.
How Does Stamina Air 1725 Cross Trainer Elliptical Work?
This trainer is designed for every user; young or old. Offering a lower impact workout that is not too hard on the knees, you may find the elliptical to be like gliding on air.
Elliptical trainers are growing in popularity at your local gym and can be used right in the comfort of your very own home. Exercising on a treadmill will require you to absorb the force of impact, whereas the elliptical does not. This is one feature that has made it so popular and easy for people of all ages to use. It is easy on the joints making the workouts more enjoyable and easier to do.
What Others Are Saying – Does Stamina Air 1725 Cross Trainer Elliptical Deliver?
According to some users it does. Kaitlyn from PA states that,
“This elliptical was just what I wanted. Something that wouldn’t take up much space. It was easy to put together and use. Haven’t had any problems with it.”
Unlike Kaitlyn and a few other users who felt the elliptical to be an okay investment for the price, the majority of users experienced problems with the machine and were dissatisfied in one way or another.
Molly from New Jersey was initially happy with her 1725 Cross Trainer. It was easy to assemble and gave her a good workout. The machine did not hold for more than 2 months, though. Molly says:
“Similar to other reviewers, I have had problems on the left side. No amount of fiddling can fix it. Now I’m hoping the manufacturer’s warranty is decent. It turned out to be an awful, abysmal deal in the end.”
Sabrina, another user, experienced similar results as the elliptical broke about 30 days after she bought it.
Victor’s 1725 Cross Trainer saw a similar conclusion. It worked very well initially, only to fall apart 3 months later.
Does It Help You Lose Weight?
The product is specifically designed to help those looking to lose weight achieve their fitness and weight loss goals.
Out of the 11 customer reviews I read, no one has specially mentioned any weight loss associated with this product. It may be that they cannot keep it running long enough to notice a difference in their weight.

Problems and Complaints
One of the major complaints with this product was the fact that it broke easily. Many reviewers said that upon receiving it they were in contact with Amazon to get it replaced or returned! They felt that the quality was poor, not sturdy and resulted in one user falling off.
One user recommended that you coat the threads of the loose screws with Thread Lock (this is an adhesive liquid available on Home Depot) in order make the machine more stable.
If you are looking for a great low-impact exercise then an elliptical is a great way to go.
While the machine did not fare well with most users, this may be something you will want to check out on your own.
Stamina Air 1725 is by no way a high quality elliptical, but it can fit most people budgets.
The price is fairly reasonable and it does offer some very good features for the user looking for a low-impact workout.
