Weider Total Body Works 5000 Gym Review
Most of us can't afford a complete home gym, and if you are like me, you look for ways to receive some of the same benefits of a gym workout using small pieces of affordable portable equipment. The "Weider Total Body Works 5000 Gym" promises a great workout with only one exercise tool. I love the ability to be able to work out conveniently and in the privacy of my home, and the Weider makes this possible without breaking the budget.
How Does the "Weider Total Body Works 5000 Gym" Work?
In the demonstration video below you can watch a user of the "Weider Totral Body Works 2000" exercise machine exlpaining the way that it works. This user shows the variety of exercises that anyone can perfrom on this workout device and he also shows the body muscle group that each different exercise trains.
So how does the "Weider gym" work to provide a beneficial workout? There are more than 100 different body exercises that can be done using this equipment. Your own body weight is the resistance you work against, and you can even increase that by as much as fifty pounds when you use the provided resistance bands.
I noticed a lot of people comparing the "Weider Gym" to the product advertised by Chuck Norris (Total Gym) but the Weider comes with a lower price tag. When I compare the two machines, I can find very little difference between them, and both are based on researched principles of exercise that work.
What Others Are Saying About the "Weider Total Body Works 5000 Gym"
In the video below you can watch a personal testimony of the "Weider Total Body Works 5000 Gym" exercise machine. This user is going through every detail of this equipement and he is giving his personal view of the positive and negative aspects of this machine.
If you are prepared to knuckle down and work out on the "Weider Gym" regularly, it can definitely help you get into and stay in shape. Many health conscious people have purchased this gym because it is so similar to the expensive Total Gym yet its price is much more affordable and in the $150 range. After buying and using the equipment for a while, M. Lamarca wrote:
"I was a bit skeptical regarding the effectiveness of this machine. I doubted its capacity to work the whole body, using only 2 cables and a foot plate. Well, I was WRONG!"
Other reviewers, for the most part, were just as happy with their workouts using the "Weider Total Body Works 5000", and the consistency of the positive reviews influenced my decision to purchase this machine.
What Results Can I Expect from Using the "Weider Total Body Works 5000 Gym"?
Some people want to build body mass and bulk up, while others want to tone and stay tight but not gain too much muscle. The Weider seems a good fit for the casual exerciser as well as for those dedicated to body building.
William Thomas aka "Wild Bill" is a distance runner with about 28 years experience using weight machines. He found the Weider Gym to be very study and an excellent product, especially considering the price. "I can not say enough about the work out. I would highly recommend this to anyone, beginner or experienced."
Mr. Thomas did mention that while the advertisements state there are 100 illustrated exercises that come with the machine, only 29 were included and felt these should be provided as advertised.
Most all who have bought and used the product have found it does provide a quality workout and conveniently in the privacy of your own home, and I have found it to be a welcome addition to my regular exercise program.

The Complaint Department
Some users complained that the equipment was not quality built and the directions only told how to break it down and slide it under the bed. Others complained about broken parts in the box that kept them from putting the gym together properly, and the customer service was not very helpful when they called to complain about it.
There seems to be an issue sometimes when disassembling the gym; a knob release can allow the whole setup to crash to the floor. No one complained about the exercise benefits provided by the "Weider Gym", but a couple of unhappy shoppers said that the equipment didn't operate correctly after they put it together.
