Will I Like Diet-to-Go Food? How Does it Taste? Will I Be Hungry?

Diet to Go (DTG) standard weekly menu contains a variety of dishes to satisfy a wide range of gastronomic preferences. But each one of us has their own likes and dislikes.   Of DTG "out of the box" 100+ dishes (which rotate every 5 weeks), chances are you will find that 30% of them are fantastic/wonderful, 50-60% are satisfactory/acceptable,  while 10-20%  are not to your liking.

Substitution: Key to Succeeding with DTG

This is exactly where the substitution system of DTG comes into play. DTG alows you to replace a meal you don't like with one that you enjoy more, free of charge, from a fairly extensive list of sub options. The key here is to use this substitution system to your advantage. So, let's say you don't particularly like certain seafood dishes (for the record, DTG fish dishes have received rave reviews) or you are lactose intolerant. You can "toss out" of your menu the seafood dishes or the dishes that contain cheese, and replace them with other food that you enjoy more or are able tolerate. This replacement will be permanent. Don't like bell pepper in your food? Let customer service know and you will not see it again. That simple.

The substitution system is important because it allows you to fine tune your week's plan so that in the end you like all dishes.  I read a customer's review the other day who replaced 40 of the 105 meals in the cycle until she was totally satisfied. While this is not typical (you will not need to substitute so many meals from the standard menu), it shows how flexible the program is. You can make every meal, every week, a real treat!

Will I Be Hungry?

The 1,600-calorie plan is pretty filling. Yet, if you are coming to the program with a big stomach, you may feel hungry at the beginning. As you go through the plan, your stomach will shrink to the point you will not be able to finish the portions. Make sure you're drinking lots of water and you can add some fruit or nuts to the mix, too.

How Does Diet-to-Go Taste?

Diet-to-Go has repeatedly won the national blind taste tests conducted by independent food experts of Epicurious.com. Recently, among 8 companies that offerred "tasty meals that are both reasonably priced and healthy" Diet to Go was the top pick for flavor, texture and appearance, knocking out  the Biggest Loser Meal Plan, Chefs Diet, eDiets, Fitzee Foods, Healthy Chef Creations, Jenny Craig, Nutrisystem.

It's true you may not like some foods but there are plenty you'll like. Here is what a reviewer says:

"This is my second week of the DTG plan. Out of all the meals I've had, I only disliked the meatloaf. The black bean soup was on the edge of me disliking it because I am not a fan of green pepper and onion. After my first week, I dropped 8 pounds. I am trying to lose 20 lbs. I almost 1/2 way there. Love the plan. Love the food. Especially since I don't have to cook!!!"  posted by CLD on March 19th on DietsinReview.com

Diet to Go is gourmet food. If you enjoy fine food you will love the taste. Here is what another reviewer says:

"I've been on Diet 2 Go now for 15 days and so far I've lost 6 pounds. In my opinion the food is very tasty. You have to have an open mind on some of the dishes if you aren't used to gourmet food. It's perfect for my busy lifestyle having breakfast, lunch and dinner already prepared for me is wonderful." Posted by Angie on June 17th on DietsinReview.com.
