A healthy body is an excellent thing to have. That is a very excellent thing to have, indeed. A healthy body is something that we all strive for. How often do you really hear people say, “I want to be sick”, or, “Can’t I just put on thirty pounds?” It doesn’t happen. So we all strive to drop those few pounds.
That Christmas ham has to come off some how. Maybe a little bit more exercise? Maybe some calorie cutting? Maybe a supplement? That’s the one you say. A nice and easy supplement to help me drop weight. Maybe a supplement based from Acai berries? Maybe that supplement will be Natrol Acai Berry.
How Does Natrol Acai Berry Work?
Acai has been advertised to help significantly drop weight. The advertising goes that Acai supplements will help raise the metabolism and therefore burn extra calories. This same theory is applied to most Acai supplements.
In reality Acai is a high antioxidant food much like blueberries. The antioxidant properties will help to remove free radicals from the body. This process usually helps with my health and reducing aging effects. But eliminating free radicals and detoxing the body will not net weight loss by itself. Natrol doesn’t claim to have any other active ingredients.
The product itself is rather simple to use. Instructions say to take 2 capsules once per day.
What Are Others Saying?
Most of my research doesn’t make Natrol look very worthy. I have found many users that said this product simply just doesn’t work, that it’s not good for weight loss. People like Patti Pitney and Cole Morse saw no results using this product. Cole actually achieved the same results from Natrol as eating blueberries everyday instead.
Many people purchased this product under the impression that Acai would help drop weight. Many were disappointed. While Acai does have healthy benefits, weight loss really is not one of them.
How Much Weight Will I Lose?
Acai is a good supplement to take. This product does have healthy benefits for a healthy lifestyle. But I wouldn’t expect to lose weight with this product. I really wouldn’t expect to lose weight with any Acai product. I could not find any weight loss results with this product during my research.
All though I couldn’t find weight loss stories associated with this product, I couldn’t find issues with side effects either. Natrol is an all natural vegetarian supplement. Taking this supplement wouldn’t be far off from eating the berry itself.
Glenn Lemont did experience a couple side effects. Natrol apparently made him jittery and his wife very hungry. This seems to be an isolated case though.
Problems And Complaints
My biggest complaint with this product is the advertising itself. As an industry whole, Acai has been displayed as a weight loss product. Unfortunately it really doesn’t do anything for weight loss or weight management. As advertised it’s ineffective.
So What Does It Do?
Cal does a good job explaining Acai. He said, “It gives you a energy boost and accelerates digestion. In Brazil we eat the berry in smoothies and sorbet. Usually Brazilians who strives for a health life style (by exercising) will have the Acai sorbet daily and go straight to the gym.”
Acai is a great antioxidant and a very healthy food. But with that said, it’s a regional item. As Cal explains, it’s popular in Brazil. In America the same benefits could be received from eating blueberries or oranges.
How Does Natrol Acai Berry Rate Overall?
For the purpose of this review, I can’t recommend Natrol Acai Berry supplements. Yes, Natrol does have healthy benefits. But this product has no effect on weight management or weight loss whatsoever. Natrol would be great for a person that just needs that extra antioxidant in their diet, but it will do nothing to help shed pounds or stay at a comfortable weight.
